THE Adelaide housing market remains the second most affordable in the country, according to figures released today.
In a dismal year for property owners, Adelaide median houses prices had dropped 4.5 per cent from $397,000 to $380,000 by June 2011 rp.data.com figures show.
The most affordable houses are in Hobart, which recorded the lowest median house price ($320,000) while Sydney ($500,000) had the highest.
